Marilyn has been working with QuickBooks since 1995. She is a CPA but doesn’t do taxes, audits or bookkeeping. Her work is with QuickBooks and 3rd party add-ons to QuickBooks. Her CPA background enables her to understand what information you need from your QuickBooks to make good management decisions. And then how to use QuickBooks properly to get that information
She works with start-up clients to multi-million dollar international companies in many different industries. Some of her specialties include retail (POS), distribution, manufacturing, service industries, etc. Because her bachelor’s degree is to teach math to junior high students, she often receives compliments on her excellent training techniques.
She frequently works with CPA firms and other accounting professionals training their bookkeeping staff, managers & partners.
She is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a charter member of the Intuit Accounting Professionals Trainer / Writer Network, the only member in Colorado. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska and a master's degree from the University of Denver. Marilyn has made QuickBooks presentations at the annual conference of the Illinois Society of CPAs, the Rocky Mountain Area Conference for Finance and Accounting Professionals, the Colorado Society of CPAs, the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Denver and The Sleeter Group’s annual QuickBooks Consultants’ conference.
